Summer Show: sadly the 'real' show on July 3rd was cancelled.

 

AGM: this took place online on July 12th.

Autumn Show: our first 'real' show for two years took place on 11 September. There were nearly 200 entries. After the show someone wrote:  "I want to congratulate you on an excellent show today. I hope you are now reassured the Ellens Green and Rudgwick Gardening Association has strong support and is flourishing. I am sure folks made a special effort this time but I do not think you need worry about the future. It is clearly alive and well thanks to the effort you and the committee and the chairman have invested in the past couple of years. You have kept the home fires burning and it has paid off. The monthly gardening section in the parish mag just reminds people and of course the virtual shows kept the pot boiling during these trying couple of years."

 

Quiz Night: sadly this has also been cancelled - not because of COVID but because there were insufficient advance bookings to make the evening viable. To get a measure of people's enthusiasm for quizzes, please could members indicate their willingness to take part in quizzes in the future? They have been so popular in the past, and we hope to hold more.
