I have a vision. I want to share it with you.

As you drive into Rudgwick village from Watts Corner heading north you will notice, on the right-hand side, a generous piece of grass I call a greensward.

I have a vision that this sea of green should be flooded with a sea of yellow daffodils to wave a golden welcome to visitors and residents alike as they enter the southern gateway of this Saxon village.

To fulfil my vision 5000 daffodils have been purchased with the organising support of EGRGA. Rudgwick businesses have been pleased to contribute to the Yellowing of Rudgwick.

Update 7 Nov 2020:

Vision fulfilled! 5000 daffs planted over the last 4 weeks, thanks to a stalwart team of locals, of which the last three helped complete the final patch.. My grateful thanks to you all. A golden host to be enjoyed by all next spring!
